Scooby is a very unique marked registered Appaloosa Gelding, coming 4 years old, that stands 15.2hh and weighs 1250lbs! He has all kinds of personality and a very gentle disposition. He is very pretty and stands out in a crowd, I guaranteed he will get you noticed! He is well built but also built to last with a thick bone structure and a solid foot. Scooby has been exposed to all sorts of desensitization training methods both from the ground and on his back, he is very quiet and steady. Scooby is great on trails and will handle any terrain that comes his way from thick, deep mud to rough rocky footing to steep slopes. He is confident and independent anywhere that you take him. He is traffic safe, has been exposed to all types of wildlife, been around farm machinery, bridges, trail obstacles, water and all the chaos that goes on around our place on a daily basis. Scooby is well broke in the arena, he lopes nice circles, takes his leads, moves off of leg pressure and will open/shut gates. He has smooth gaits with the most beautiful trot and extended trot that you will see! he is easy going will slow walk, ranch walk, trot or lope small or large circles. He is soft in the face, moves easily off of leg pressure, has a big stop, steps around correct and pivots. We have ponied colts off of him and he has been started on tracking the hot heels.
